5 June - WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY🌎🌱

Under the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 every year to influence people and  to raise an awareness that the world is facing the problem such as air pollution, plastic pollution,water  pollution, degradation of soil, extinct of endangered animals, earthquake, tsunami, flood, global warming and sea level increasing day by day.  

World Environment Day was first celebrated in the year 1974. This day has created a platform to raise awareness about degrading environmental conditions and to encourage people globally to take positive environmental actions, to help create a better future.

Sweden is the host of world environment day in the year 2022.
