The Commonwealth Games referred to as the Friendly Games . It is an international multi-sport event involving athletes from the different  Nations. The event was first held in 1930, and, with the exception of 1942 and 1946.

It has taken place every four years since then.

The2022 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022, is an international multi sports event for members of the Commonwealth that is taking place in Birmingham, England from 28 July to 8 August 2022.

This year Birmingham, England host the Commonwealth Game 2022.  Around 72 nations participated this time.

The opening ceremony is held on 28th July 2022 and closing ceremony will be held on 8th of August 2022. 

This is the first time, inclusion of cricket takes place in the Commonwealth Game 2022.
